[13:01:29] Thomas Haynes joins the room
[13:01:33] <beepy> Streaming audio link is dead.
[13:03:28] <Thomas Haynes> We've sent out a service ticket
[13:03:46] <beepy> Danke...
[13:03:48] Chuck Lever joins the room
[13:04:57] <mstiemerling> I have bugged the front desk in person that they fire to the noc :)
[13:05:23] <beepy> Thank you:-)
[13:05:33] <mstiemerling> Bitte schön!
[13:05:41] <mstiemerling> (german for you're welcome)
[13:06:26] <beepy> I took German in high school. My assistant Ursula was born and raised in Hamburg - she keeps improving my German. :-)
[13:06:29] Matt Welch joins the room
[13:07:20] <mstiemerling> nice! :)
[13:14:47] <beepy> Is anyone else accessing the audio stream? I'm trying to figure out if this is a personal problem...
[13:14:58] <mstiemerling> let me try from here
[13:16:09] <beepy> Boca 2 is working fine.
[13:16:19] <beepy> But you are in Boca 1:-)
[13:17:37] <mstiemerling> There are multiple things, depending on the room, that are wrong
[13:17:47] <mstiemerling> the noc people move around to see what is broken where and why
[13:18:05] <mstiemerling> I've tried boca 1 which isn't working on my side either
[13:19:01] <beepy> Yeah - other rooms I'm poking at are on... good thing it is one way - I'm coughing up a storm again:-)
[13:20:37] <mstiemerling> I wonder why the audio has been tested before, as this is the most important part for remote participation
[13:22:33] <beepy> Well, the other rooms seem to be working. I can actually connect to Boca 1 stream (had a little issue on my side). But though I'm connected to Boca 1 stream now - no sound. I can go to other rooms and listen with wild abandon...
[13:24:25] <mstiemerling> let me see if I can play with the audio equipment or if I screw up eveything :)
[13:26:49] <mstiemerling> the tech person is now here and trying to fix it
[13:26:57] <mstiemerling> I couldn't find out what's wrong
[13:27:05] <beepy> Since I've nothing better to do, I observe that Caribbean 4 and Caribbean 6 seemed offline - and now they are coming through.
[13:27:20] <beepy> So it's just you in Boca 1:-)
[13:27:27] <mstiemerling> they are hovering around to get all streams fixed
[13:27:36] <mstiemerling> it must be us in boca 1 :)
[13:30:01] <beepy> They just did something...
[13:30:09] <beepy> And there you are!
[13:30:17] <mstiemerling> nice
[13:30:23] <beepy> Thanks Martin!
[13:30:39] <mstiemerling> you are welcome, but the tech guys did fix it finally
[13:32:23] <beepy> You know, I was sitting here musing as I went into the other "rooms" and listened a bit that this remote access is great - but really seems to me you can only make sense of it if you had actually physically attended meetings before. If you never went to an IETF meeting - I'm not sure what you would think was going on. :-)
[13:33:56] <mstiemerling> that's true and is also my own observation. did some ietfs via remote audio/jabber.
