[12:50:17] <ted.h> As a totally off-topic note, maybe it is time to rename the groups httpsbis?
[12:50:44] <ted.h> I suspect that the tooling hates that, but you know, maybe...

[13:06:04] <Meetecho> joehall: was the loud mic related to the remote participation in CH2?
[13:06:07] Frederic FIEAU joins the room
[13:06:10] <Meetecho> Or the mics in the room?
[13:06:30] <Julian Reschke> loud mic is presentet's
[13:07:00] <ted.h> I think the mic was reasonable, to give a different view of the gain.
[13:07:05] <Meetecho> Ack, thx, will notify the AV team
[13:07:43] frodek joins the room
[13:12:06] <ted.h> If this was a random three character string assigned by IANA, would this be better?  I think some of this is just glomming "sec-".
[13:17:59] cjsu joins the room
[13:19:21] <joehall> loud mic was in Congress 2 next door, apologies

[14:19:46] nygren leaves the room
[14:20:06] joehall leaves the room
[14:20:11] <afrind> We need a new (real) logo soon or it will be around forever
[14:20:23] <Dmitri Tikhonov> I am afraid it may be too late
[14:20:45] <Dmitri Tikhonov> I see it every other time I see an HTTP/3 article on the web
[14:21:03] <afrind> h3scary will always be there, but if there's a cool looking one at least there's an option for non-trolls :)

[14:34:20] nygren joins the room
[14:40:51] <g.e.montenegro> On the question of how to reach h3 endpoints, there is some relevant discussion in https://tools.ietf.org/html/draft-thaler-appsawg-multi-transport-uris, which started from a similar problem in another "multi-transport" protocol: COAP. Multi-transport cuz it also can use either TCP or UDP. The doc talks about different tradeoffs between what Mike labeled option 2 ("decorating the URL") and option 3. It would be good to look at that document and provide changes, take guidance whatever. But the current text would appear to nudge one towards Mike's option 3 for the case of H3/quic (might vary for other protocols).

[14:50:58] <Erik Nygren> wow.  If all working group sessions go at this compressed speed these will be so much more entertaning (but so much less accessible to non-native speakers)
